The growing shift among people to change their focus from treatment of disease to prevention of disease is resulting in more healthy lifestyles.
This is leading to more people visiting their doctor for check-ups, performing disease screening, even having their DNA checked.
Capitalizing on this growing awareness of prevention, a new entry in the field, PreveCeutical Medical Inc., is planning to globally brand a signature portfolio of disease preventive health products and services.
In 2015, the term preveceutical, a combination of preventive and pharmaceutical, was coined by company founders Kimberly Cole and Stephen Van Deventer.
The company has trademarked the term “Preveceutical” in Canada and the U.S., and is currently filing in the EU, China and Australia.
With preventative health covering a variety of sectors, including practitioner care, medicine, nutraceuticals, fitness and lifestyle, management believes wellness products will become the next trillion dollar industry.
The company’s strategy includes generating revenues from monetizing trademarks, royalties, licensing products, and through acquisitions of preventive wellness products.
The company has a strong management team which believes the preventive wellness industry is a prime candidate for consolidation as there is currently no dominant leader in the sector.
