PI Financial has initiated coverage on Apivio Systems, symbol APV on the TSX Venture Exchange.

Analyst Pardeep Sangha gives the company a buy recommendation with a speculative risk rating, and a 12 month target price of $1.00, a premium of 194% to the $0.34 price on January 29th, the day the report was issued.

Apivio Systems, an emerging Canadian technology company, designs, develops, manufactures and sells VoIP based telephone solutions and equipment.

Apivio’s design, R&D and manufacturing facilities in South Korea enable it to produce high-quality products at relatively low cost.

The company has a stable, growing business as a leading supplier of VoIP phone systems to the largest
service providers in South Korea, and the company is now poised for expansion into North American markets.

Over the past year, Apivio developed an Android-based enterprise phone in partnership with NEC Corporation.

NEC will be selling these phones across the United States starting in April 2015, followed with a
global launch in mid-2015.

Analyst Pardeep Sangha stated: “We view this phone is a “game changer” in the industry as it incorporates the features of an Android based smartphone and a desktop enterprise phone.”

Apivio is led by an experienced entrepreneur, Rob Bakshi, who is the company’s President and CEO.

Mr. Bakshi was the founder and former CEO of Silent Witness, which was acquired by Honeywell in
