Origen Resources, an exploration company, is one of the latest new listings on the Canadian Securities Exchange, trading under the symbol “ORGN”.

Origen was spun off from Raffles Financial Group, formerly Explorex Resources, with Explorex shareholders receiving one share of Origen for every two shares they held in Explorex.

Explorex transferred $500,000 and a property portfolio of four 100% owned base and precious metal projects in British Columbia, and a 75% interest in a cobalt exploration property in New Brunswick.

Gary Schellenberg, CEO, stated: “We thank everybody for their patience through the completion of this transaction. The transaction has provided the existing shareholders with two distinct avenues to benefit from their initial holdings. For our part we, the management of Origen, have significant plans to move the company forward and will endeavour to continue rewarding the shareholders as our plans are enacted.”

The company’s material property is the Arlington Project, which is located in the Arrow Boundary District of south-central British Columbia and is 17 kilometers north of the community of Beaverdell and 67 kilometers south of the City of Kelowna.

The property, located on Crown Land, consists of three claims covering 649 hectares of land, with 13 BC Minfile showings located on the property.

All of these showings were first discovered and worked on during the early part of the 1900’s.

The company holds the sub surface rights only.

Although there are no First Nations reserves, treaty lands, or treaty related lands on or in the vicinity of the Arlington Project, there are currently five First Nations who may have community interests encompassing the area of the Arlington claims

A total of 44 rock grab samples were collected from newly located historical workings uncovered during the 2017 field program.

A total of 5 samples returned elevated and anomalous gold results from 1.3 to 11.67 parts per million gold.

Results of a 2018 soil sampling program expanded the area of anomalous copper and silver soil results through the sampled area between the two grids.

For more information please refer to the NI 43-101 Technical Report dated December 2019, which is available on Sedar.

The shares are trading at $0.25.
