Advanced Intelligence Systems, a leading custom robotics company providing modular systems to create practical robots, has appointed Jonathan Saperstein to its Advisory Board.
Jonathan Saperstein is CEO of Tree Town USA, one of America’s largest nurseries, producing around 22 million plants annually with more than 5,000 unique plant selections.
Jonathon Saperstein has led Tree Town USA through several acquisitions, accounting for the company’s strong organic growth.
His experience in the greenhouse and horticultural industry will be instrumental to AIS as the company is developing its modular robotic applications and expanding into international markets.
Afshin Doust, CEO of AIS, stated: “We are very honored to have Mr. Saperstein join the AIS Advisory Board. Tree Town USA is a leader within the horticulture industry with more than 6,000 acres in production, and Mr. Saperstein’s experience will be immensely valuable as we continue to develop affordable, autonomous robotic solutions to solve labour shortage problems in the horticultural industry.”
Jonathan Saperstein, CEO of Tree Town USA, stated: “I am genuinely excited to be joining the AIS Advisory Board and working with their talented team to provide affordable and innovative automation solutions for the labor-intensive tasks that challenges our industry every day.”
The need for labor in the horticulture industry has been steadily climbing, however, finding workers to perform the repetitive and labor-intensive tasks necessary in nurseries and greenhouses in the horticulture industry is extremely challenging. AIS’ autonomous robot – with customizable software and modular parts – is providing the industry with an affordable solution.
The AIS team has superior intellectual property and patents which are currently being applied to develop custom robotic solutions in the horticulture, agriculture, manufacturing, and warehousing industries.
The company’s autonomous robots have the intelligence to perform repetitive or dangerous tasks with exceptional dexterity and precision.
For example, by placing plants securely on its rotating robotic platform base, BigTop can move up to nine plant pots at a time, thereby solving the repetitive and laborious task of moving and spacing pots of different sizes and weights in greenhouses and nurseries.
