The new name better aligns with the company’s new flagship cannabis marketplace, launched in the fall of 2022.
In August 2022, the company acquired HerbalDispatch.com, a Canadian online dispensary brand, along with its website domains, trademarks and user database containing more than 100,000 profiles, including more than 60,000 active subscribers of age-verified, Canadian-resident cannabis consumers.

Since 2015, Herbal Dispatch has been providing its members access to the best quality, small-batch cannabis in Canada along with SKUs not available at the British Columbia Liquor Distribution Branch, positioning Herbal Dispatch as one of the largest providers of medical cannabis products in Canada.
The company has engaged more than 50 licensed producers that are now qualified as approved vendors with more than 600 SKUs approved for sale on the company’s platform.
August 2022 was a busy month for the company as it also acquired NG Biomed, a licensed producer of cannabis products for both the recreational and medical consumer markets.
Upon the closing of that acquisition, the company appointed the Honourable Herb Dhaliwal, NG Biomed’s Chairman, to its Board of Directors.
Mr. Dhaliwal is a former member of Parliament and Minister of National Revenue, Minister of Fisheries & Oceans and Minister of Natural Resources and the former Vice-Chair of BC Hydro.
In a corporate update on November 28, 2022, Philip Campbell, CEO, stated: “The Company’s online marketplace strategy allows us to offer a broader range of competitively priced products while capturing intermediary margins by selling directly to the final consumer. With the large oversupply of cannabis in Canada and the compression of wholesale prices, we believe this capital efficient technology focused strategy will allow us to scale up sales quickly and efficiently while capturing stronger gross margins. Over the coming months, we plan on implementing several new and expanded direct-to-consumer marketing campaigns to bring further awareness to our new Herbal Dispatch brand and product offerings.”
