Big Red Mining is one of the latest new listings on the Canadian Securities Exchange, trading under the symbol “RED”.

Big Red holds an option to acquire a 100% interest in the Dobie Lake Copper Project in Ontario, Canada.

The property is located approximately 100 kilometres east of Sault Ste Marie, Ontario.

The Dobie Lake Property consists of 131 claims totaling covering 6,500 acres which are staked in one contiguous block but de facto include two small areas separated from the main claim block by the Little White River Provincial Park.

The property surrounds and covers extensions of the past producing Jentina Mine.

Highway 546 crosses the property and there are ATV trails covering most of the property.

Mineralization on the property consists of copper bearing quartz veins and stockwork within the Huronian sediments, which generally strike east-west to northeast and have been traced for more than 1 kilometres in length.

Two copper mineralized systems are present on the property, namely the No. 2 Zone and the Canamiska Zone.

A third, the No. 1 Zone, may lie partly within the property, though this must be confirmed by future work.

According to the NI 43-101 filed by the company, a review of the historical 1965 drilling efforts by Canamiska Copper Mines reveal a wide zone of disseminated copper mineralization centered on higher grade veins.

The diamond drill logs do an adequate job of describing rock types, but lack in detail describing the nature of the mineralization.

Big Red plans drilling campaigns to maximize its minable resource potential.

Big Red's diversified management team has extensive experience in financing, exploration, development and mining.

The shares are trading at $0.19.
