SPC Nickel Corp. is one of the latest new listings on the TSX Venture Exchange, trading under the symbol “SPC”.

The company is focused on exploring for nickel-copper-PGMs within the world class Sudbury Mining Camp, the second largest nickel camp in the world, with reported total production of 11.1 million tonnes of nickel and 10.8 million tonnes of copper and eight active mines.

The company is currently exploring its key 100% owned exploration projects Aer-Kidd and Lockerby East both located in the Sudbury Mining Camp and holds an option to acquire 100% interest in the Janes project located approximately 50 km NE of Sudbury.

Grant Mourre, CEO and President, STATED: "This announcement represents a significant milestone for SPC, our team, and our shareholders as we launch a new Ni-Cu-PGM company that is focused on making a discovery within the world-class Sudbury Mining Camp. We believe that the Company's exploration assets, in particular our flagship Aer-Kidd Project, have potential to host high-grade, high-value Ni-Cu-PGM mineralization. We plan on immediately initiating an aggressive $3.6 million exploration program at Aer-Kidd and look forward to steady news flow going forward. SPC's goal is to build and grow into a pre-eminent North American nickel exploration company while also returning value to our shareholders through discovery."

The company's flagship project, Aer-Kidd, is strategically located between two world class assets, the producing Totten Mine and the large, high-grade Victoria development Project.

Mineralization was first discovered on the Aer-Kidd property in the late 1880’s and near-surface mining occurred periodically from 1916 to 1968, from three zones.

The company has completed 25,400 metres of drilling to date, with another 15,000 to 20,000 metres planned over the next 12 to 18 months.

The shares are trading at $0.50.
