E2Gold Inc., is a Canadian gold exploration company, is one of the latest new listings on the TSX Venture Exchange, trading under the symbol “ETU”, following its initial public offering.

The company raised gross proceeds of approximately $3.4 million ($3,384,942) from the placement of approximately 5.4 million (5,421,100) flow-through units priced at $0.22 per unit and 11 million regular units (10,961,500) priced at $0.20 per unit.

Each flow-through unit consisted of one share and one-half a warrant, with the full warrant exercisable at $0.28 for 24 months.

Each regular unit consisted of one share and one warrant with the warrant exercisable at $0.24 for 36 months.

Beacon Securities acted as the lead agent of the syndicate for the over-subscribed IPO, which included INFOR Financial, M Partners, and Red Cloud Securities.

The shares are trading at $0.18.

The company’s flagship Hawkins Gold Property is located in northern Ontario, 80 kilometers south-southwest of the town of Hearst, 140 kilometers east-northeast of the producing Hemlo Gold Mine and 205 kilometers northwest of the city of Timmins.

The project is directly accessed by route 583 and a logging road system, which is maintained all year, that extends south from the Trans-Canada Highway 11 at Hearst.

The 60 kilometer long underexplored Hawkins Gold Project hosts a NI 43-101 compliant Inferred Mineral Resource, the McKinnon Zone, consisting of 6.2 million tonnes grading 1.65 grams per tonne gold for 328,800 ounces of gold.

The McKinnon Property was initially staked by the late Donald McKinnon in 1997, based on having similar geological characteristics to the Hemlo gold deposits located 140 kilometers to the southwest.

The company completed first-pass surface geological, geophysical, prospecting and trenching work in 2020.

Drill permits are in place as the company prepares to begin a diligent work program early in the first quarter 2021.
