Romios Gold Resources has announced a non-brokered private placement.

The company is looking to raise gross proceeds of up to $650,000 from the placement of up to 10 million flow-through units priced at $0.065 per unit.

The company is also looking to raise gross proceeds of up to $500,000 from the placement of up to 10 million regular units priced at $0.055 per unit.

Both units consist of 1 share and 1 warrant, with each warrant exercisable at $0.10 for 12 months.

The company will accept subscriptions up to a total of 10 million units in any combination.

The shares are currently trading at $0.05.

The company plans to use the funds for exploration and working capital.

Headquartered in Toronto, Romios is actively engaged in precious and base metal exploration across North America with a primary focus on gold, silver and copper.

The company has significant property interests in British Columbia, Ontario, Quebec and Nevada.

It also retains a 2% NSR on the Hislop gold property in Ontario.

Romios has extensive claim holdings covering porphyry copper-gold prospects in the "Golden Triangle" of British Columbia, where field work has begun on its TREK porphyry copper-gold project.

At the Trek North Zone, previous drilling by Romios between 2008 and 2011 partially outlined three large, stacked mineralized zones.

Drilling returned impressive intercepts including 131 meters grading 0.6% copper, 0.39 grams per tonne gold and 8.5 grams per tonne silver.

A field exam by Romios in 2019 uncovered a potential porphyry copper-gold system in a previously unexplored area on the southern TREK claim

Numerous underexplored prospects exist on the southwestern Trek claims south of Sphaler Creek including the West Zone and Camp Zone, each of which contain both low-grade bulk tonnage porphyry copper-gold mineralization and related massive sulphide veins.

Historic chip sampling of one such vein at the nearby Gully zone in 1988 returned assays of 5.31% copper and 8.77 grams per tonne gold over 3.6 meters.

Only 2 drill holes have been drilled on the southwest claims, 2 others planned in 2011 were not completed due to the shifting of focus to the North Zone.

A comprehensive program of ground geophysical surveys, re-mapping and infill soil sampling is planned for 2021 to bring this area to the drill stage.

The company is also active on its other properties.
